Description

One bottle of this 5th growth Pauillac from the fabled 1961 vintage.

There's one recent note on Cellartracker from Rockincabs who rated it 93 points and wrote:
"14 March 2012 - A Trip to Bern's Steakhouse (Round 2) (Tampa, FL): Nose: Leather, Blackberry, Cassis and horse hair. Very classic Pauillac nose. Palate: Enters with intense Blackberry, Cassis and Leather, but begins to show iron filings and herbs in the midpalate. There are some intense notes of huckleberry in here as well. Finish: Very berries, bitters and leather are there with an intense iron note. Excellent bordeaux."
