The vineyards of Chateau d'Arcins stretches of sandy-gravelly ridges and clay, right in the town of Arcins. His former owners had worked to give this wine a reputation, and the current owner is working to follow the path by the acquisition of land with vines, and by all modern technical means to produce a wine of good quality. Château d'Arcins Cru Bourgeois millésime 1980 offers a great bottle of red wine with all the cassis and plum aromas we desire in a Bordeaux. The wine is remarkably subtle, its body and aromas are reminiscent of those of certain wines of Margaux.
