Description

One bottle of Morin Pere et Fils, Chateau de la Tour Clos-Vougeot 1971 in excellent condition. The ullage level is normal for a bottle of this age; it looks lower than it is because of the long thin neck of the bottle.

This is a very rare bottle; the only other one I can locate for sale anywhere in the world is available through Wine Watch Boutique (Florida) at $495 (plus VAT).

Though I can't find any tasting notes for the wine, the vintage is very highly regarded; It received a score of 18/20 from Le Guide Hachette and Michael Broadbent states that "the major estates and top négociants produced wonderful wines which are still delectable" (Pocket Vintage Wine Companion).
