I had a case of 12 bottles, I was concerned that the wine may have passed it's drinkable life so I opened a bottle myself. It has clearly been well stored as the cork although slightly deteriorating on the outer edge (having removed the foil seal) was nicely soaked and moist with the wine.
Several of us sampled it and all were in agreement that it tasted wonderful and improved more and more the longer it was allowed to breathe. I even ended up selling a couple of bottles to one of the tasters and have since sold a few bottles on Bid for Wine.
These are the last two bottles, I think they do need to be consumed within the next 3 - 6 months or so (although they've lasted over 30 years with seemingly no major deterioration so who knows?!)
