Description

A couple of very similar bottles from the "other Pauillac château owned by the Rothschilds of Lafite. Purchased in 1962 it was totally transformed but curiously is one of a very few classified growths not to have a real 'château'. The wine is made in a large shed/chai in Pauillac!

The blend is 65% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot and 5% cabernet-franc.

The bottles are dusty from a previous life in a Falmouth cellar, the levels are as per the photo - top and high shoulder - not bad at all for 45 years...
