13/04/2018 … Spectacular value (SHL) - smooth Merlot (60%) fruitiness (CF 30%, CS 10%), zero tannin but completely in its window still - no hint of getting too old. SHL compared with the disappointing Figeac '82 we had many years ago and this is far finer. Maybe not a deal of complexity but such a wonderful smooth mouthfeel.

08/07/2018 … dark, smooth, fruity, full mouthfeel .. lovely fruity, fullsome taste makes any lack of complexity irrelevant. Merlot dominated of course. No cliff edge imminent but just drink now and enjoy … totally ripe, luscious and mature! Slipper/slider/virtually a quoffer so fruity! How old but fine, mature claret supposed to taste.
