One bottle of Chateau Lafite 1952, purchased recently with a number of other wines.

90pts from Wine Spectator back in November 1991, who knows what a further 20 year's will have done...

Few nicks to label, which is showing signs of age and cellar storage, as is the capsule.

Level is above mid-shoulder, which is comensurate with a (virtually) 60 year old bottle!

Best price (worldwide) on wine-searcher is £1,110 + Taxes for a bottle with similar levels in the US.

Best price in the UK (again on wine-searcher) is £1,712 + VAT.

On that basis, with a realistic starting price and no reserve, this could be an absolute bargain!
