Tasted blind, this wine had a medium red center with light orange rims. The medium+ intensity nose showed baking spices, cigar box notes, cherries, and some roses.

In the mouth, this wine was very short at first and we were not sure if there was a problem. The after about 2 hours of air it was clear there was no problem. It was super refined and light but showing tons of detailed complexity that is classic for Lafite.

While this wine was quite subtle (maybe too much so for some) it was very impressive as well. I would not pair it with a strong dish as it will get lost. It should also certainly be drunk as it is starting to dry out. Enjoy!
