1 x Bottle of this very rare & hard to find Chateau Lafite 1977, Level great for age of wine (Base of Neck), Label excellent, capsule trimmed at bottom so cork could be inspected for authenticity.
Bought at auction in the late 90's it has always been kept in a cellared environment.
A special wine for a special occasion. Brick red on the edges with a surprisingly more youthful than expected vibrant red centre, slightly dark maroon core. Very Clean
The bouquet is fantastic, very complexed and layered.Very fragrant, with sandlewood, crushed rose petals, smokey oak, cassis and coffee bean.
Classic Old style flavours on the palate, cassis, dried cherry and Old Leat
