A bottle of Latour from the very good 1955 vintage. Capsule has some creasing; label perfect; level upper to mid-shoulder, no signs of seepage; colour deep red through the glass.

Michael Broadbent in his "Vintage Wine" says: ...deep healthy colour; perfect nose, flavour, balance and length. Complete. Faultless. Feb 2001, 5 stars, will go on and on.
