Description

For a wine approaching its 50th birthday, it is a delight to discover how fresh and vibrant this looks, smells and tastes. The colour is a vivid bright red-garnet, and the nose and palate offer sweet red fruits and soft tobacco. There is still a little tannin providing structure to the wine - goodness knows how ferociously tannic this must have been on first release!

This will probably still be drinking well when England next win the World Cup...whenever that might be!
