Description

Very deep ruby color and very forward and opulent nose reminiscent of a Cali Cab but with nice graphite notes. On the palate, this is a full, ripe and opulent wine but there is good structure underneath along with deep flavors of blackberry liquere and smoky graphite. Such a dichotomy of a wine in that I want to hate the overippeness but the wine is just so delicious and finishes with excellent intensity and licorice and mineral crunch. Straddles the edge but definitely joyous to drink.
