This Margaux is very old and very rare.
However, it does not come without any problems. The label is full but a little bin soiled and it is faded. There is a Shroder & Schyler and Co, Bordeaux slip label. The capsule, although firm, is nicked as can be seen from the photos. The level is low shoulder although there is no obvious sign of seepage.
There can, obviously, be no guarantee as to the condition of the wine and as such, it is being sold more for its rarity and being 64 years old it might be an interesting gift next year for someone turning 65.
