Chateau Meaume is situated roughly 15 kilometres north of Libourne in the commune of Maransin. The Johnson-Hills acquired this historic chateau in 1980 and quickly implemented a modernisation program.
Although firm believers in technology, the Johnson-Hills recognise that vineyard management is paramount to producing excellent wine. Traditional agricultural methods are used in favour of chemical fertilizers.
