Description

For the last few years there have been some promising signs here and seeing where it is, on a decent 'croupe' of gravel overlooking the river just south of Montrose, it always seems a little surprising they cannot do even better here on a regular basis. Perhaps they are now getting on a roll. Following a good effort for 2013, they have pulled out a cracker this year. Still Saint Estèphe in style, but with lovely weight and fruit density. There is a creamy, rich feel, gently seasoned with lovely pepper and just a tad of sophisticated vanilla and oak spice.
