Description

Two bottles of this St Estephe 2nd growth from a case recently removed from a Cambridge College cellar.

Labels are good albeit a little "dusty".

Levels are high shoulder - not perfect, but acceptable for 46 year old bottles.

No mad rush.. Cork came out sweetly. Did not decant.
Earthy, ripe fruits, leaning toward red rather than black.

Drinking probably at its peak. Dark fruit core surrounded my charcoal and earth. Fresh in the palate. Drank better than the 55 Latour.
