Château Pontet Canet 2005 is a Top ten Pauillac.

2005 was a great year for Bordeaux wine and Pontet Canet 2005 is a truly exceptional example of that vintage. On the nose it has aromas of black cherry, cassis violet and spice. It is full bodied, beautifully balanced, with good acidity, soft tannins and intense fruit flavours. An elegant wine with a long finish with hints of vanilla. You can drink now but it will improve over the next 20 years!
