A top class Cru Bourgeois from Saint Julien and from the excellent 1990 vintage.

Even my cat (Willis) purrs his approval because he`s been told about the 13 hectares of vines, situated neat Ch Talbot and Gruad Larose, made up of 70% Cab.Sauv, 25% Merlot and topped up with 5% Petit Verdot. Average age 35 years, and aged in oak for about 14 months.
Rich, fruity and tannic in their younger years, this St Julien matures into delicious balanced claret after about 12 years and has the consistency, concentration and class to age well into its 20`s.
