Earthy, gummy, full potential on the nose, plenty of red berry fruit. The attack is stylish, bears refined red fruits, with a copious surround – herbs, tannin, leather. A tight-knit raspberry and white pepper duo bring up the finish. Well sustained, very good core matter here: the palate is a delight, with a lovely, sustained length and flavour.
