Description

M. Burgaud produces just one wine from the 4.5 hectares of vines around his house in the hills of Côte-Rotie. This is an amazing colour, almost black with a vibrant, narrow pink rim. A fantastic demonstration of all the good things of the 09 vintage; a mixture of the ripe and exotic balanced by acidity and spice. Concentrated notes of blueberries and tar leap out of the glass. This has a long finish and represents value.
