Description

This vintage went without a hitch – there were no delays in ripening with a good warm summer, and the vines didn’t suffer in the run-up to harvest as temperatures cooled and there was a little rain. This wine still has generous, dark, ripe-fruit perfume, but some development is now showing on the nose with leather and cigar notes. On the palate, well-integrated cassis, mocha and forest-floor flavours are perfectly balanced by very fine acidity.
