Description

An excellent Pomerol and a fine example of the 1962 edition.
1962 did of course suffer in notoriety by being in the shadow of the 1961 vintage. Nevertheless St. R Parker agrees with me (!) stating that the `62 produced "Elegant, supple, very fruity wines, neither too tannic nor too big, but consistently pleasurable and charming. Because of their balance they have kept longer than anyone ever imagined...." Say no more squire.
