Clos Saint-Jacques is a Premier Cru vineyard used to produce red wine from Pinot noir grapes in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy. It is situated in the Gevrey-Chambertin Appellation d'origine controlee.
This is a top quality Pinot Noir from a well known producer, well aged and suitable for drinking now.
Bottle shows some label damage, and this has been reattached with masking tape. I fear removing this will damage the label.
The high fill (see photo) demonstrates no seepage and been stored well.
I am also selling a bottle of the same wine from the 1997 vintage.
Bottle and capsule in excellent condition given age.
