Difficult to find, top cuvee from this iconic producer. This notoriously long lived wine is now just about ready to drink.

This terroir lies in the lower area of La Tourtine. The terroir is small, with particular features: first it is sheltered by the hill from the Mistral wind and it gets a light breeze that goes up along the narrow terraced slope; then it faces south, south-west which gives it maximum sun exposure.
These exceptional conditions allow the Mourvèdre vines - 95% in that area - to reach an ideal maturity. The low yield makes it a rare wine.
This vigorous and powerful wine with its dense tannin is often a revelation to the lucky few who taste it. It is a reference.
