Super Rhône tasting (Wine Watch, Fort Lauderdale, Florida): One of my favorite wines of the evening. The nose exhibited black cherry, plum, barnyard, barbecue smoke, bacon fat, and dark chocolate. A soft but full mouthfeel. Tannins mostly resolved. Bright acidity on the finish. Refined and complex. Truly an excellent wine.

Occasional dinner group: 100 Parker points (red) wines (@ the Librije in Zwolle, Netherlands.): Beautiful and luxurious bouquet with dark and red berries, sweet spices and autumn forest impressions. On the palate beautiful red fruit acidity and round tannin with still a good bite. No more notes, but this is a great beauty which is ready now and the next 5+ year
