Description

The lot consists of 2 bottles of Chateau Musar from the exceptional 1993 vintage (considered one of Musar's best vintages ever). The unusual grape blend of Musar is Cabernet Sauvignon,Carignan,Cinsault and Grenache and the wine is noted for its great ability to age.The last 10+ tasting notes on CellarTracker have awarded this wine between 90 and 94 Points.

However, one user tasted Chateau Musar 1993 with Michael Broadbent's son,Bart and has used the Broadbent 5* Marking system as follows:-

Color: Ruby core leads into a tawny rim with a clear meniscus.
Smell: Forest floor,mushrooms,leather,smoked/charred meats,clove,oolong tea,and tobacco.
Overall: In the mouth, this is bold, medium+ body, high acidity, medium+ tannin and vibrant fruit. There is brilliance in this wine that commands attention and thought, yet this is a wine that still deserves time to fully blossom. In honor of Bart Broadbent, who made tasting the '84 Musar Rouge possible,I'll use the five* system.
