Bernard Faurie makes his Hermitage the traditional way which means you have to wait for the wonderful flavours to emerge. This 2003 has really come to life, being packed with aromas of violet and flavours of crunchy, powerful and spicy hedgerow fruit.
Purchased en primeur and stored horizontal in my own cellar which has constant humidity and temperature. This is a lovely wine, great now and will continue to develop over the next 5 years.
I'm selling as I have bought too much over the years and need to clear some space in my cellar.
