Description

Reviews:

Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate – 93 points

Deep garnet in color, 2007 Block 6 Shiraz has pronounced notes of cinnamon stick and dusty earth over warm blackberries and blueberries, cloves, toasty cedar and licorice. The full-bodied, bold fruit is well supported by very crisp acid and medium-firm grainy tannins. It finishes long and spicy. Approachable now, it should continue to drink to 2018+

James Halliday – 94 points

A particularly expressive bouquet of spiced plum and blackberry fruit, then an elegant savoury/spicy palate of considerable length; hand picked, from 115-year-old vines. Date tasted 06 Dec 2009, drink by 2022.
