Description

This 100% Pinot Noir wine comes from the vineyards located in one of the newest chilean valley’s: Leyda Valley, located at only 14 Km from the Pacific Ocean. Its closeness to the sea makes it a unique spot for viticulture. The cool conditions during spring and summer due to maritime influence and ocean breezes make it an extraordinary area for the development of Burgundy varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Leyda was born as the pioneer vineyard in Leyda Valley, whose commitment is to be protagonist of a unique place, working with specific microterroirs, limited wine production and selection of each parcel, which will give different expressions, purity, identity and character to ultrapremium wine.

This special lot comes from a selected parcel where viticulture work is done by hand and vine per vine looking for an individual plant management. Because of this, yields are extremely low, obtaining no more than 0.9 Kg/plant.

This delicate Pinot Noir is complex and elegant, with fine aromas of strawberry, cherry, orange peel and herbs, which combines perfectly with oak. Red berries, fresh and sweets are the first flavours in the palate, then cherries and soft tannins which linger in a long and persistent finish.

This vintage won a gold medal in the Chilean wine competition.
