This lot consists of two bottles of Mas de Daumas Gassac, one each from the 1996 and 1994 vintages.

This stern Cabernet dominated wine takes a long time to reach full maturity - the "Lafite of the Languedoc" according to French wine guide Gault-Millau!

With 14-16 years bottle age, these wines are just about entering their prime drinking windows. They are definitely food-wines, with their firm structure. They will keep and potentially soften further for a few years yet.
