"Even more exceptional is the 1995 Mount Langi Ghiran Shiraz.In 1995 yields were off 23%-30% according to Trevor Mast (the Proprietor).He considers the wine to be reminiscent of the 1990,but richer.The wine possesses a saturated dense purple color,followed by a smoky,hickory,blueberry/cassis nose,great intensity and richness on the palate,and oodles of cassis fruit presented in a full-bodied,low-acid moderately tannic style.This massive,but well balanced wine should drink well for 15-18 years".
