Full-bodied and powerful, this is one of the best (or THE best) Chianti Classico Riserva that money can buy. 2006 was a great year in Chianti, and this definitely is the most prominent ambassador of the label. Will make many Brunellos pale in comparison. This has just hit its apogee and will be a pure delight for another 8-10 years or more if cellared correctly.
24 months aging in barriques (50% new French oak) + 6 months in bottle before release. Only 2,000 cases produced..
