One of the finest examples I have tasted, the 2000 Pavillon Rouge du Chateau Margaux exhibits supple tannin along with big, sweet, luscious black currant flavors intermixed with hints of cedar, spice box, and vanilla. Plump and fleshy, with low acidity, it will offer delicious drinking now and over the next 10-15 years. Don't miss it.

Absolutely in its' drinking window now. Exhibiting all the style and flair of the vintage the 2000 Pavillon Rouge is bursting with red fruit. Lush and supple with the characteristically indulgent mouth feel of Margaux, this wine is on song. One to greedily consume over the next 4 - 5 years. 92pts Mr Posle 2017
