For sale, six individual bottles of this world famous 1er GCC 'second wine'.

These bottles were removed from The Wine Society storage 4 years ago, and have been professionally stored since then. They are currently in their Original Wooden Case and will be split for this sale.

Tasting notes:

Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider (92/100)
Silky and seductive, from a blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, this ripe, fresh wine features supple tannins and a sweet, lush, blackberry, plum and… (full tasting notes on the WCI website).

Jeannie Cho Lee (93/100)
Behind its elegant facade, this wine has a lot power and concentration. Dark berries, hints of plums, truffles, spices. An uncharacteristically dense Pavillon Rouge - much richer, denser than most years - its fantastic texture and charm combines power and femininity into one wine.
