One of 2 bottles being offered for sale of Richebourg from the superb 1945 vintage, bottled under Lebegue labels and in excellent condition. Those who know their burgundy history will be aware that Lebegue used to own a significant stake in Domaine de La Romanee Conti and the liklihood is that the fruit for this wine comes from DRC vineyards. Regardless of that, here we have a very rare and very high quality bottle of wine from one of the most exclusive vinayards on earth. The colour appears to be good through the glass and the level is good - just above the collar label, see pictures. This has been stored for decades, untouched in a deep brick cellar in Yorkshire.
