Deep ruby in colour with a garnet rim. The wine displays appealing dark fruit aromas, sweet spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, and hints of coffee and tobacco. The structure is full-bodied, the palate shows a silky texture balanced by firm tannins and good acidity. Long lingering finish. A perfect match for Beef Wellington, Game pie, and steak and kidney pudding.
