Deep purple garnet colour, and a big rich, slightly meaty nose. The Cabernet blackcurrant aromatics come through beautifully, as does the damson of the Merlot. The palate has a big powerhouse Ribera fruit dominated structure, with spicy peppers and paprika. Exceptional length and a remarkably fine silky finish.

All this for a derisory starting figure.
