Drinking 2018–2023. With this treasure trove of excellent wines at my disposal, I spent a day with winemaker Julio Saenz tasting different barrels and lots which we blended together to create an exclusive wine that speaks beautifully of Rioja’s fine traditional style: smooth, mellow, complex and silky. The 2013 vintage produced wines suitable for enjoying in their youth and as such this will provide great pleasure from late 2018, peaking in 2019 and remaining delicious until 2023 at least.
[It is still very nice, but best drunk within a year, I think]
