Château Miraval is a truly gem in Provence region and it is owned by the Hollywood star couple Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie.
Usually these kind of operations are just good for marketing purposes as most of times wines are good for cooking, but in this case there is a big difference. The winemaker is Perrin family, the legendary producer of Château Beaucastel. Perrin family is not only responsible for winemaking. They take care as well of the distribution policies.
Back to the wine, this Rosé is really gorgeous. It can be put on the same level as Domaines Ott wines and the yearly ratings testify their large success. It is not an easy going Rosé, but is complex, elegant and with a very good aging potential.
This vintage has not been rated yet; the 2013 vintage has been rated with 90 pts from Wine Advocate.
