Safrà 2020 has been made with a more lively and fluid Mandó base. A red wine with a white soul that for this new vintage incorporates 30% Arcos again, an almost forgotten grape that has been recovered, gaining in freshness and complexity.
It matured for 6 months in old 2,800-litre earthenware jars in its impressive 17th-century cellar.
Celler del Roure is one of the most interesting projects in Valencia. The winery, located in the southwest of the province within the Monxent sub-area, is situated in the triangle known as the Valencian Tuscany". The objective was to recover traditional production methods and old varieties of this historic wine-growing area (Les Alcusses. IV century BC), the current Terres dels Alforins in the PDO Valencia.
