This lot is a sampler pack of the 2009s from New Zealand's world renowned Felton Road. It comes with a great story, having been purchased by the donor from Felton Road's generous offer in aid of the Christchurch Earthquake Relief fund (see below for details). Having already helped this great cause, the case will now benefit Wine Relief to whom all proceeds of this sale will go.
Angela Reddin who donated the case was assistant wine maker at Felton Road in 2004 and she's asked that we mention that the case includes a bottle of all of the hugely sought after block wines and that it's THE final case on the market. In her words:
'After Jancis Robinson agreed to highlight that Felton Road were offering their sampler cases to the UK and that they would donate every single penny to the Christchurch Earthquake Relief fund the UK responded in a surge. Every case went within hours and many people did not manage to get one'.
