Description

This wine is a dark ruby in colour and displays a medley of black
fruits with sweet spices on the nose. Supple tannins on the palate
are well balanced with mouth-watering acidity and a long finish.

Surrounded by Premier Cru sites, the 'Les Hâtes' vineyard is
arguably one of the best village terroirs in Santenay. Lamy's tiny
0.67 hectare plot is in the original Clos - the walled part of the
vineyard. The vines were planted in 1999 and 2006 with a
southeast exposure. The soils consist of mainly deep clay.
