Fun Fact: Phylloxera can't survive in Santorini's volcanic environment and thus this Assyrtiko wine is from very old ungrafted vines (some above 100 years).
This is the most special edition of the already premium white wine Assyrtiko from Santorini. Assyrtiko Grand Reserve is made by 100% Assyrtiko grapes grown in the volcanic soil of Santorini island. the Dry White Wine from sun-dried grapes grown in Santorini, marking it as P.D.O. wine. Assyrtiko Grand Reserve has been matured in oak barrels for 12 months and another 12 months in the bottle before its release. Ideally paired with seafood, fish white meats with light white sauces and cheeses.
