De Castellane's prestige cuvee. Bought from a private dealer in Odeon, Paris, 7 or 8 years back, along with some other bottles from the same house.
stored in a cool Montrouge cellar between purchase and April 2016.
labels are faded.
Liquid is effervescent and (as far as I can make out, the glass being very dark) clear. See Richard Juhlin's 8,000 Champagnes. He rates this house, and in particular their prestige cuvee, very highly.
