Bought from a Parisian wine collector approximately 8 years ago.
stored in a montrouge cellar the past 8 years.
The fill level reaches the bottom of the neck foil.
IMPORTANT. the liquid swirls with tiny particles when the bottle is moved. I do not know what the particles are precisely, or their cause. I have consumed a bottle full of visible particles on one occasion only: a Laurent Perrier Brut 1970. An Epernay wine dealer poured the liquid through some kind of white cloth/paper. Cannot recall if he bought the cloth/paper specially for this purpose or if he fashioned it himself. Anyway the cloth visibly captured the particles and the LP 1970 was pleasant in a chocolatey kind of way, albeit many years past its peak.
I am NOT making any claims for the drinkability or otherwise of this C HEIDSIECK 1961.
