A bottle of rare, mature vintage Champagne from the house of Pommery from the 1945 vintage.

The Champagne is an Extra Sec.
The bottle is in satisfactory condition for its age with the labels and wrapping mostly intact, besides some scuffs and soiling, the wrapping is mostly intact as well and covers most of the cork ()see images).

The glass bottle itself shows the typical pre-1960s bottom finishing used for Champagne bottles during that period.nnThe fill level is excellent for the age with ca.2.5cm-3cm ullage (measured upside-down, see image).

Certainly piece of Champagne history!
