FOR SALE: ONE BOTTLE OF 1962 DOM PERIGNON
Sold in excellent condition from my own family collection, this bottle has been very well stored. The foil, cage, cork and label are in excellent condition for their age. More importantly, the level is also very good. The contents are nice and clear with a slight (to be expected) sediment. Please see the pictures for evidence of this description.
1962 was an excellent DP vintage and is still garnering noteworthy praise to this day:

Vintage Tastings, Kickoff Classic (9/17/2005)
(Dom Perignon) Bruce slid over to my table with a gorgeous bottle of 1962 Dom Perignon. He was cooing over it, and rightfully so. He got it from one of our auctions :) . The bottle was just f’in delicious. Forgive my French, but it was French, after all. Grainy, toasty, rich and creamy, this was a classic. Hay and honey dripped out of the glass and coated the palate. This was an extraordinary bottle 96 points
The cheapest available bottle in the UK of 1962 DP is currently £460 + VAT. A modest and sensible reserve and buy it now price that fairly reflects the profile and condition of this bottle, that is comfortably below the cheapest dealer value, has been set.
