To celebrate 50 years of James Bond and the continuing on-screen relationship they share, Bollinger released a special edition James Bond label and gift box called the 002 for 007 coinciding with the launch of James Bond’s latest escapades in the film “Skyfall”.
So after a cool glass of Bollinger and armed with a bag of popcorn - Bond, James Bond - appeared on the screen in Leicester Square for me. My mission to make sure I didn’t miss the parts where Bollinger would appear - no doubt chilling in a silver champagne bucket awaiting a clever opening line from 007.
The Skyfall Edition though is encased in a James Bond gun silencer-styled gift box with a gun grip finish and combination lock with guess what - 007 on it. The bottle label evokes the spirit of both Bond and Champagne Bollinger and containing La Grand Anneé 2002 - one of the finest vintages in nearly 100 years.
