FOR AUCTION: ONCE BOTTLE OF 1973 BOLLINGER RD

Sold in outstanding condition for its age, this bottle of 1973 Bollinger RD has been very well looked after in cellar conditions and hardly moved during its life. It is in virtually just-released condition, with the bottle, label and foil in excellent condition. Contents are nice and clear. Like many other 1973 RD's It was a special release for the Royal wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales in July 1981.

Bollinger RD - like Perignon's Oenotheque and Krug's Clos du Mesnil/Collection - undergoes extended ageing on the lees (8 years plus in the case of RD) and is marketed as the house's top champagne. This vintage is now extremely rare to find. My reserve on here is very fair given the prestige, rarity and condition of this bottle. It is significantly less than the current dealer price available.

The bottle will be sent very securely packaged and fully insured on receipt of cleared funds. Alternatively, collection in person would also be fine.
