Alexandre Mea belongs to the fourth generation of champagne winegrowers. Although, for those more knowledgeable in the matter, the origin comes from Maison Devavry, in Champillon, north of Epernay.
This winery began its journey in 1920, which for champagne is to be relatively young and has dedicated itself with care to its elaborations. The best known, the Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru, the Blanc de Roses Pinot Noir or the Achille. All of them are the predecessors of the Carbon collection.
This led to the association of carbon with the fiber of the vehicles, as well as the large bottles in celebration of the victories on the podiums of Formula 1, made this champagne be on television screens around the planet. The association with the luxury car firm Bugatti is driving the rise of this sparkling wine in the market at full speed.
A much more accessible and less serious concept of champagne that we find in the Carbon White bottle.
It belongs to the Carbon Effect family and accompanies the Reflection, Pink Fever and Gold. Carbon White is a dry champagne. That is to say, it has a little more sugar than the conventional brut to which we are accustomed.
